The Blue Lagoon Beach Hotel is situated on the south east coast of Mauritius, and is only a short ten minutes drive from the airport. The hotel is set amongst beautiful tropical gardens. A white sun drenched beach and the crystal clear turquoise lagoon of Blue Bay surround the hotel. The bay is home for the “Coral Garden” a wonderful snorkelling area that is a Nature Reserve.

Accommodation

Each of the 72 rooms is equipped with an air conditioner, electronic safe, color TV, minibar, and a shower. All of the rooms have their private balcony overlooking the ocean or the tropical gardens.
 

Sports and Leisure

For the more energetic guest we have a large range of land and water sports available free of charge including, tennis, table tennis, volleyball, windsurfing, kayaking, pedaloes, snorkelling and mini sailboats. Deep sea fishing and diving can also be arranged at a surcharge.
 

We offer a wide spectrum of sailing activities and organize trips to the outlying islets. Our catamarans and speedboats cruise to the Ile Aigrettes, a 5 hectare islet 100-m off Blue Lagoon Beach Hotel. The islet consists of an old calcareous coral reef partially overlain by sand and soil deposits. It is an internationally important site as it was declared a nature reserve in 1965. Many of the plants found there grow nowhere else in the world.

Entertainment

Live entertainment is provided for you nightly, including our resident band as well as traditional Sega and Indian Dance Shows.

Relax and soak up the sun whilst sipping a refreshing cocktail. Enjoy the vast range of culinary delights in either of our two restaurants. Our main dinning room offers a buffet nightly where you can experience a different theme each evening, ranging from Indian buffets to traditional Mauritian Buffets.
