| For me it was the first time being in South Africa. I had to be in Capetown and Johannesburg for business. I was glad that I could find a spare day in my schedule so I could see someting of the country itself. Late that night I ask the frontdesk in my hotel about advice. My hotel advised me to do a tour with E.B. Tours. I didn't expect that it was possible to arrange a daytrip just the evening before the trip. But the next morning E.B. Tours was picking me up at 06.30!!!! I can make a long story what all happend during the next 15 hours, but that will take to much space. Because of the all inclusive tour and the perfect knowledge from Rob Edgecomb about the Pilanesberg Game Reserve I will never forget this day. I made a lot of digital pictures of Rhino's, Giraffe, Eland, Elephants and a lot of other animals were I forgot the name ( sorry Rob ;-)). |
Great Tour to the Pilanesberg with Dave.
Fantastic sightings of 4 of the "Big Five"- we missed Leopard but got Lion twice,plenty of Elephant and Rhino plus seeing +/- 100 Buffalo .
A scene not to be forgotten was seeing 2 Giraffe eating "bones" for calcium intake. As well as the Bushbuck ram.

| It has been and endless fascinating tour, beyond our expectations. In short, we have fallen in love with Africa. We will be back.

Thank you very much for everything while we were in Africa! We really had a wonderful time with you which will always be an unforgettable memory for us. After we said good bye, we decided to fly to Rome straight away!! You can guess how tired it made us, I slept the whole day after we arrived in London.
Please say thank you to Tim as well, It was the most confortable lodge I ever stayed in, thanks to his warm welcoming and lovely food, nice african style dinner. I would love to visit you and Tim again to see Lion and Leopard one day!! |
